I totally get that. Peter McGuigan & I had a frank discussion many years ago as to whether I should be censoring dissent of the club (ironic that I have so often been accused of doing exactly that by some people, while getting grief off the Chairman for not doing it enough!) Peter felt it did a disservice to the club allowing negative posts. Jim Harvey once collared me and told me I could pick the team for the following match "and I'll sit at a computer, slagging you off on Shrimps Voices"   That was after a particularly abject performance at Accrington where I may have had a bit of a rant!

But, this is a free resource so I think it is daft that the club do not to use it. I completely recommend that the club don't enter in to discussion about even the slightest contentious issue, but promoting deals or news stories, that can only benefit the club, is to me at least, a no-brainer.
“Britain faces a simple and inescapable choice - stability and strong Government with me, or chaos with Ed Miliband: ".

David Cameron. May 4th 2015.
So how did that work out then?

Maybe there is some stipulation in the EFL Rules somewhere that clubs can't "officially" post on fans forums?

I'm purely guessing here but there might be something?
