You remember how sometimes the players trained on the beach? Well it was all in preparation for next season's new pitch! :D :lol: :lol: :lol:

Seriously, I've got no idea about the technicalities of pitch laying, but it certainly looks like a lot of work going on.

Andy Holt has been posting photo's of the progress of Accrington's new pitch over the last month. It shows the amount of work goes in to relaying a totally new pitch. Worth a look.

Doesnt appear to be any different than what we did last closed season to our pitch.

I thought last season's was a brand new pitch, with improved drainage ? !
