Good news. Ideally I think I'd rather him be the number 1 with Baz being the backup.

Brilliant news, in particular that it is a two year deal, so we're looking beyond next season. :D

Zac should have been offered an extended contract part way through last season but we rarely seem to do that. Did we do that with Lavelle last season? Perhaps it's because we never know at that stage whether we are still going to be in the league the following year :cry:

Yes, Jim did say he had to wait till safety was guaranteed before he knew what contracts could be offered. Sams was a 2 year deal, not an extension

Delighted with this signing.

Now get Aaron and Zac signed up and a couple of new faces and that would be superb.

However don't want the rrumoured oldie from Carlisle.

Baz seems to have been picking up injurys for the past couple of seasons as it is, so I am sure even if Mark doesn't start the season as number 1 he will get a chance somewhere along the line.
