Zac should have been offered an extended contract part way through last season but we rarely seem to do that. Did we do that with Lavelle last season? Perhaps it's because we never know at that stage whether we are still going to be in the league the following year

Yes, Jim did say he had to wait till safety was guaranteed before he knew what contracts could be offered. Sams was a 2 year deal, not an extension

Baz seems to have been picking up injurys for the past couple of seasons as it is, so I am sure even if Mark doesn't start the season as number 1 he will get a chance somewhere along the line.
