So confirmation that it is and always was just a 2 year deal.

Personally that leaves the door open hopefully for a local based consortium to ultimately take ownership which for me would be the ideal scenario.

We really need a good season in order to attract the right buyer. A poor season and we could be back where we started.

Wonder how much it would take for the owners to sit down and negotiate a deal that would see them get a reasonable return on their investment...... :?: :?: :?:

Only wish at the time that compensation was going thru my head. The number of friends who have told me since that my wife should have taken a photo of the offending pot hole and then made a claim as others have successfully done is considerable.

All I could think of at the time was the pain and my inability to move my elbow and how the hell was I going to drive to Shaldon for our holiday. Eventually we got there. My wife operating the gear stick and myself driving with one hand which with my left arm being the one that is caput and being left handed was not easy. What made matters even worse was that I was due to attend a watercolour painting workshop whilst on holiday.....

The club are now on the beg and borrow for £5k to buy some fitness equipment for pre season. Probably not the best timing after being told the new owners are funding a £7mil wage bill and developing some land down south for the peanut huggers.
