Could Worcester not have survived on a wage budget of £6,995,000?

Any positive and confidence in the owners has pretty much evaporated.

Multi-millionaires asking for donations from the public to raise £5500!

It's certainly more than mind boggling when you consider the £££ they've put into the Rugby....

To be fair we have always had fund-raising events etc for pieces of equipment such as defibrillators etc to help the club.

And the owners have made to clear that, whilst they have cleared debts, they want the club to be self financing. If they have helped us on the road to achieving that we should be very grateful.

They should have made it a sponsorship opportunity instead of making it sound like a fundraiser

I never had any confidence in them to begin with i am sure they are here as a two year mortgage to the club and after that they will want a return or take some land.

To be fair they always said they were here for 2 years and you must expect them to want a return for their money. It's 2 years we might not have had and we do seem to be possibly heading towards a more stable financial position. Certainly can't be any worse than the situation we were in before they came along.

Completely agree. They are in it to turn a profit and currently, I don’t have a problem with that. They stabalised us and have given us a breathing space. Hopefully during that calm period, we will find a new owner who is preferably local, with the club truly in their heart, or at minimum, not completely barking mad and/or a con-man!

So how did that work out then?
