Grimsby fans seem a lot more up for this opening fixture than we do!! They've already sold 600 plus tickets and are hoping to bring around 1,000 with long threads about the fixture on their forum. All I can see on here is moans about season ticket collection issues from folk who can't be ar**d getting down to the ground to collect them and fixture boards at the ground not up yet, (all from the usual pessimistic moaning minnies. LOL).
How about some enthusiasm for the coming season with a tasty all northern fixture to kick it off? I for one am looking forward to it!
Is a bit of optimism too much to ask??????????????
I'll make the first prediction then. 1-1. Oates for us and a crowd of 2,543.
