In my view the least biased way to complete the table is not to look at the updated table until you have put in all your predictions.
This will stop you taking away points from teams that seem to be in contention as the weeks progress.
Apart from the obvious bias of giving us a good run in, my predictor had us in 6th place with 70pts.
So many teams above us have to play each other that anything is possible....

My (admittedly pessimistic) predictions had us in 11th at the end. I'd think that was a very decent season all in all.

But, as I say, I have (in this) feared the worst in a lot of games in which we are well capable of doing better than my 'predictions'.

Chesterfield end up 4th - just missing out on automatic promotion!
Is the glass half full or half empty? Mmmm? hard to say - but it does look like there's room for more beer!

They were really lucky to escape with a point against us at CP. I think we can get a draw at least if we keep it together.

Intresting stuff!!

In the next 5 games i had us down for wins at home against Luton, Bradford and Notts County with a away win at Macclesfield and draw at darlo to bring us level on points with 7th place.

But then the next 2 of our remaining 3 games are away at Rotherham on a tuesday and Exeter on the saturday were i think we will struggle to get any points and we finish 10th 3 points off the play-offs.

8th on 70 points for me too. All done and dusted before the final Saturday with Exeter secure in the last play off place by beating us down there. I have us down for not losing again until Rotherham away, then losing the second one at Exeter. We finish above Bradford, Chester & Luton go down, Brentford champions.

Edit A real six pointer... reversed the Exeter score, we win 1-2 and end up above them by one point! I prefer that outcome

I have it that we end up 8th on 74, the same as chesterfield and Rochdale, but we miss out on Goal difference to the tune of 4 !

I've managed a superb run to the end of the season, where Luton win every game, including on Saturday. But by an amazing set of circumstance, we win the league on goal difference, while Accrington & Chester are relegated.

Simple things eh?

Looking at Gillinghams fixtures if we go on a good run i think it could be them who drop out the play-offs at the last minute. If you look reaaaaallllyy reaaaalllly hard at their fixtures. :D
Get over it ;)

We can still win the league! Not sure I can still get Accrington relegated though

wondered how we were all doing
think according to this i had us on about 62 points by now
so if we do win last four ill have got points tally right
would we finish 8th though?
fantastic end to the season whatever happens now

Really intriging run-in.
Chesterfield fans dont think they deserve play-offs and don't rate their manager.
Bradford & Shrewsbury wobbling more than a trampoline full of jelly.
Ironically the form challenge could come from Daggers considered outsiders like ourselves.
Remember that there always seems to be one team who time it just right and make the play-offs as a surprise package.
And as mentioned some 'bigger' teams have harder run-ins.
It's about bottle & belief now.

...plus the experience of having been in a similar position which could be a significant factor in the final shake up.
