If we play like that for the rest of the season, we will win a lot more than we'll lose. A bit concerned that we didn't go for a second goal. How much was simply Colchester pushing us back more as they pushed for an equaliser or whether we were sitting deep, but regardless, it was an excellent game! Hope we can repeat it at home on Tuesday in front of our own fans, then a HUGE game next Saturday.

Great day today, took some stick off the locals earlier on but enjoyed the praise after. Getting ready to go back out again now, might wear my Morecambe shirt to wind them all up, they weren't happy booing their players and leaving early
Enjoy yourself.... It is later than you think

Great result, need to back it up with at least 4 from the next 6 points

Not sure why you had to name check me, just because I don't agree with you doesn't mean I support the football club any less than you do my friend. I will enjoy my holiday all the more now and shall be tuned in on Tuesday with San Miguel in hand. I shall continue to live in your head rent free buddy. Ching ching

Have been trying to post for the last couple of hours but for some reason I kept getting info that this thread was locked (????).

Anyway, just wanted to say that today would have been my Mum's 100th birthday if she was still with us: also 15 years to the day that we left the UK for Cyprus.

So Colchester had NO CHANCE today.

Great result. Well done to the team and all the travelling fans today. Am currently trying to work out a trip to the UK to see MFC when they are playing somewhere near to Stansted (my arrival airport from Cyprus).

Keep the faith. COYS

This unexpected but most welcome result could be a pivotal moment in our season and could lead to a successful remainder of this seasons campaign......and dare I say even a successful FA Cup run depending on who we get in Round 1.

Just watched the highlights and what delighted me was that the corner routine for the winning goal was to the near post and not to the far and beyond as we have become accustomed to.

Also credit to Stockton for getting in front of his marker, again something that we have not done with any degree of success in recent games.

Maybe it's something that our management team have noticed and changed instructions accordingly.

What a brilliant win! So disappointed I missed the match with internet going down all yesterday. It is no more than we deserve as we have been competitive in so many games that have gone against us this season. Some great saves too.
Hopefully this will give us something continue to move up the table a bit.
