How ironic that would be.
Personally IF it is someone from outside I'd be looking at Ian Evatt at Barrow.
Also I would expect though I doubt we'll be told that AFC Fylde have agreed to some financial compensation which when a team comes knocking on the door of your manager usually happens.

Jim says in his interview he was frustrated over the last 18months that's pretty much since the new owners came in.

He was crying for training facilities for years and the new owners delivered for him. He has been able to sign players. The not paying a transfer fee thing is nonsense. How many L2 clubs pay for players? He has been able to stay overnight in hotels before away games, not all clubs can do that. Been able to tap up the Trust for training equipment. He hasn't been that hard done too.

For me and I could be on my own in this but they should have little involvement in deciding the next manager if as we seem to think that they will not be around come next season.
Our club based Co Chairmen should have the final say as they will have to work on a daily basis with the new manager, not some London based individuals who have shown little interest in our club of late.
Getting someone in who would have to operate under the current restrictions isn't going to prove to be an easy appointment and any suggestions of improved budgets from our London based owners has to be taken with a pinch of sale.
JB's successor will be an almost impossible task to find and it may end up that we get an experienced player coming to the end of his career who wants to get into management as was hinted by Radio Lancashire. One name springs to mind is the former Stoke and now Reading player Charlie Adam. Probably out of our wage scale but would be ideal and bet Kenyon would love him at the helm.....
