Radio Lancashire Football preview Friday night

Some very interesting comments on tonight's programme concerning the club going forward.

Feeling was that some of the squad will be delighted that a new man will be coming in because of methods of both play and training that they didn't particularly like. It was felt that a new man bringing in new ideas was the ideal way for our club to progress.

It was felt that the new manager should be Northern based, knows the league and probably more important not a 'big' name. Possibly a current Assistant Manager or maybe a Youth Coach who could concentrate on the development of younger players.

As for team selection tomorrow they felt that only one of the caretaker guys should play as for both to play wouldn't provide the off field guidance needed.

Not sure if their is a link to the interviews but it was around 7.15pm on Radio Lancashire Sport 104.5fm.

Both Baz and Kevin were interviewed as part of the club feature and are both looking forward to the challenge and have asked that everybody gets behind the team. At the moment they are unsure whether both or even one of them will play. Kevin sounded in particular very professional and maybe would relish the chance to take over F/T..... :?: :?: :?:

Who was talking especially about training methods?

I think its only natural that training might seem the same after a while and thats why change every now then is good. Like at work i have meetings with people and they say the same thing everytime.

Did you know store managers at Booths have to change stores every few years so they dont get to comfortable.

From the way jim talked I imagine most sessions were planning about how the other team will play and how we need to set up to combat it.

I think it was Paul Gallagher and a PNE historian who commented on the requirements of a new manager.
