An apology

An apology

Postby redrobo » Tue Nov 05, 2019 2:48 pm

I wish to offer a very sincere apology to all those who found my recent post offensive concerning Kevin not receiving any congratulations on a superb result v Orient from our former manager Jimbo after 17 years of outstanding service to our club and the local community.

On reflection it was totally uncalled for and one that I very much regret.

I did not mean any disrespect and to those who feel my comment was disrespectful please accept my apology.

I can only offer this apology and hope that it is accepted by everybody who feel offended by what i posted.

Sorry.

Neil, you are your own worst enemy. You post thoughts without really thinking about there impact.
I don't agree with much of what you say but I know a great many on here would never apologise for what they've said. You have and I respect that. Try thinking longer about it's impact next time.

Oh, and it's not people on SV you should be apologising to but JB.

Amen to that. There's an old adage:

Absolutely right. You have an opinion, know exactly why, and how it is being posted, so why an apology?
When others respond, and tell you just what they think, to your opinion, some of which you don't like, that's just how it is. If you create a character through the keyboard, prepare to be judged, as we all are.

This apology doesn't wash with me one bit , because it's not just one post sullyiing the reputation of someone any decent fan would hold in the highest regard, you have picked and picked at every opportunity , egged on by the 3 stooges that are as bad as you, you wish Jim well at Fylde ?, my arse you do, you are just feeling sorry for yourself because of the unexpected backlash from people who couldn't believe what they were reading.

I fully expect a response from Larry Mo and Joe but I don't give a f##k.

You're just like me and a few others on here Neil,

Wise men speak because they have something to say; Fools because they have to say something.

Still, no one can ever question your commitment to the club ;)

Did you once send "Bentley" an invitation to your birthday party and he didn't turn up or something?

"Bentley" & 'Ellison' & 'Roche'
OR
'Jim' & "Kev" & "Barry"

Otherwise you simply look like a sad man with no respect and a personal dislike for someone who served our club for more than 17 years.
“Britain faces a simple and inescapable choice - stability and strong Government with me, or chaos with Ed Miliband: ".

David Cameron. May 4th 2015.
So how did that work out then?

I'd like to offer a very sincere apology for my bad thoughts when people post bollocks and nonsense on here concerning things where they are clearly misguided and wrong.

I have reflected and I believe my bad thoughts were uncalled for (but understandable) and I very much regret allowing then in.

When I think these things I don't think them disrespectfully - so I apologise.

I hope my apology is accepted by everybody, who is misguided and wrong, and who suspects I may have had some bad thoughts.

Sorry, guys and gals

Thanks Neil for providing this platform. I feel liberated now.
