Good to see via Kev's Twitter account that the players are in today for training.

Good to see. I'd imagine it'll be a relatively relaxed session for most players, mostly basic last minute tactic training before Oldham tomorrow.

Will be interesting to see if it pays off some boxing day games we have been useless and looked a bit rusty and slow.

Double training on Xmas day before a match sounds a bit harsh and possibly counter productive. Remember Jim a couple of years back giving the players the day off at home and they got a result. Guess it's always the correct decision if you pick up 3 points.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing, as ever, and quite right WB, if we had won today, then the Christmas Day double session training would have been classed as masterful. But I echo your thoughts, in relation to the both the physical, and psychological effect of the decision. Before anybody bulldozes in, I am not making comparisons to previous managers, or taking a big swipe at DA.
Carlos for one, looked “cooked,” well before he was subbed imo. Our real danger-man.

We looked tired v Oldham and our lack of speed throughout the team was apparent.
