I'm not having that arguement. J*m used to bang on about looking in to players eyes, their back grounds and seeing if they are up to being a Morecambe player. He is even on about neurological pathways down there at Fylde. He signed the players. Simple as that.

The bottom line, based on the usual, “ it’s a points based business,” there has been no “almost magical” climb up the league so far. Something that some voiced, would happen with a managerial change. Well so far it ain’t, fact. From Jan onwards, new players etc,etc is when the reality of our “new era,” takes shape. No amount of, talking a good fight, changing training routines, changing, changing.....counts for shite, unless the results come with it.
I really hope it all comes to fruition, because it has to, and let the good times roll. The confident predictions, that it definitely will, I leave to those that “know.”

Based on???

If Sam goes in January and his ['undisclosed'] fee is given to Derek in order to bring in his players, then great.

If Sam doesn't go, and money is made available to Derek from elsewhere, then great but what a shame some money wasn't made available sooner.

If no money is made available, then...

Some fans on here would blame the previous manager if a hurricane took the roof off the main stand, Derek's revolution has given us 6 points out of a possible 21, 3 of which are thanks to a wonder goal worthy of A.C. Milan, and unlikely to happen regularly, as Keith says ,if money appears then great, let's see......

Yes but Derek's "Revolution" has so far had to take place with the hand of cards left to him by Jim. We can't judge Derek until he has had a chance to make changes to the squad

Can’t argue with that GS.

Yes... a squad put together AGAIN on zero budget. How many times can you expect to produce a silk purse out of a sow's ear? The Bentley out brigade were convinced that it was the manager, not the players who were the problem... now it's the squad that isn't good enough and that's still Jim's fault?

Jim worked wonders keeping us in the EFL particularly over the last 3 years since the Diego farce ! However his business in the Summer transfer window has left us with a very unbalanced and large squad. Why did he feel the need to loan Miller who is so similar to A Jay ? I was very much a "Jim in" person but I feel the time was right for a change and I have confidence that DA will not only save us but have us in the top half of the league next season.

I knew on the 21st he wouldn't be back for the Cambridge game and suddenly there's a free for all about him being sold off
He'll be here to see this season done and safety achieved
