I was a big fan of Tutte. Thought he was very calm on the ball and usually made the right decision. Guess he just couldn't establish himself and we've got a lot of options in his position now.

im surprised tutte lasted as long as he did clearly not a team player in every aspect of the term

I was surprised Jim Bentley never got rid of him half way through last year when after coming off injured
he kicked the bottles and shouted I hate this fffff club

purely there for the cash no spirit no fight no passion

Shame about Buxton, I liked what I saw of him. Seemed to have one bad game against a quick long ball team and then never appeared again.

Aye, Tuttes spat of throwing his bib down wont have helped his cause, Buxton was one of those that actually showed confidence on the ball. Will never forget his thunderbolt from his own half hitting the bar at Mansfield

Maybe understandable, but disappointed with regard Buxton, he offered plenty imo. Fitness, conditioning, temperament who knows?? Early season, he was rock solid, and embarrassed Mansfield away. Good luck to the man, hope he does well.

Hope Tutte gets sorted aswell.

For me from almost day 1 Tutte showed an attitude that suggested he wanted to be elsewhere actually believing that the club was beneath him. Fortunately DA has now shown him the exit door which is long overdue.

As for Buxton, a quality player who seemed to have fitness issues. He had issues at Tranmere regarding his 'build' but that is something I think has been over rated and his passing and dead ball kicks where excellent.

Can't see any problems in Buxton finding a club.

Tutte looked like he had run a marathon after 5mins on the field. He never looked fit enough to be a League 2 player. He always had a face on him like a smacked arse. I looked at some old photo's of him earlier in his career and there was nothing on him. Non League beckons.

I thought Buxton would have played better in midfield as he could certainly hit and pass a ball, his fitness might have been his issue but overall think he deserved more of a chance.

Tutte seemed to have an issue since he arrived, never seemed arsed and again, gave the impression that he was doing us a favour being at our club.

Adams seems to have the attitude my way or the highway, probably a shock to the system for a few around the club but if it works some will say it's probably long over due. I think a lot of the decisions are based on attitude both in training and day to day around the club.
Does make me think from what I've seen in the games so far you cant doubt those who are left, are playing for the shirt which is how it should be. Kenyon for one i feel has improved over the time Adams has been here so far and giving his all.

Hope Ellison stays, can't knock his effort on the pitch the last few months and great to have around for the younger players

Presumably both still at the club but free to go if another club come inn for them? It doesn't sound like their contracts were 'paid up'.

They are still on the payroll but won't be playing for us again.

Quite a bold statement, do they know this? Must have been a bust up if that is what they have been told.

What a waste of money as the song goes

Makes complete sense though doesn't it? Players who you know you're not going to play who are going to just continue to be paid and forced to turn up on match days sitting in the stands. Give them the option to find a new club and save the wages

Tutte has been a huge disappointment. Buxton I feel a bit sorry for. He's played well for us and was MotM in his last match for us. I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up at Fylde.

Yeah, not an official statement on the OWS though.

Basically Tutte and Buxton can go on “Free Transfers”

“Free Transfers” were the normal term used in the 70s 80s to get shut of a player still on contract before loaning players became easier in the Football & Premier league.
