It doesn't sound as if they are that much better than us. We just don't seem able to convert our chances.
Just have to hope we can get a goal early 2nd half and make a game of it. We are better than the shoreline suggests. COME ON YOU MORECAMBE REDS.

Definitely three shots on target! Great save by keeper from Tanner, good block by their defender from Diagouraga and there was another block by a defender earlier [from Cole's shot I think?] But yes, being more clinical would help!

3-0. Shot well saved by Halstead, but the ball fell perfectly at the feet of their attacker. Typical.

We're in massive trouble because we're bottom of the league, but this isn't a '3-0' performance.

BBC never seem to count shots that defenders clear as on target, when they clearly are. Keepers don’t have to touch the ball to be on target!!

Well, that was a cracking goal! Superb volley, taken on the run, fired in to the top corner.

Ho-hum.

We desperately need a striker who can score. Last January Collins was our saviour. Who this season?

It looks like we've had a hell of a lot of shots blocked.

We seem to say most weeks we didn't deserve to loose, we played well, it was a soft goal etc

Bloody hell! Should have been 5-1 but for a dreadful shot!

If you are listening to iFollow, the point I was trying to make to Freez, was that the difference between us and Northampton is that they shot at the first opportunity, whereas we were taking too many touches before shooting. For example, Cole's last effort, he turned, then took four touches before shooting. The defence were still running back when he took the first touch, but by fourth touch, the defence were in position and facing the right way. If he'd shot first time, even if blocked, there was more chance for the second ball.

Yup. Story of our season.

Cambridge thrashed by Stevenage today, making next week a HUGE game for us. Anything less than three points against a team who've now lost their last four, will be a disaster.

Ok, one really bad result, 18 games to go, 54 points up for grabs, we may be bottom but we're not down yet.

Disappointing result but we’re playing really well on the whole recently. A little more composure and we’ll pick up points. We’ve got some really important and winnable fixtures coming up so let’s not panic and trust Derek and the players to continue in the right direction.

Cambridge 0 Stevenage 4 today. Are you saying that anything other than a Morecambe win v Cambridge next week will be okay?

Today wasn't a 4-1 performance. I said that we were playing better than the scoreline suggested when it was 3-0. Even at 3-1 I thought we could get back in to it.

I'm still optimistic. But the reality is, we're bottom of the league. Next week is a HUGE game for us.
