Very unlucky to not grab a point in 2nd half

Leitch Smith needs to start next Saturday

Macclesfield and Cheatenage both lost so not a disaster

Yet another game that we deserved something from. Hit post, hit crossbar, should have been given a penalty, they cleared one off the line, their defender managed to slide in on Cole's shot to turn it wide... the opportunities were there. With a little bit of good luck we could have picked up all three points, but in fact we get none again.

Mansfield threw away a 2 goal lead to draw at home to Carlisle, points at home against the sides around will be more than enough.

Slew has some brilliant ability you can see that, but for some reason he's not match ready, just seems to vanish in games, but not sure AJ could play 90 mins seems to have a dodgy hamstrings or was that only when Jim was here ;)

Should we not have had 2 pen's, one on Carlos, then one on Phillips ?

Well... the Phillips one was one of those "I've seen them given" but equally, I'd have been pissed off if it was given against us. And as for Carlos, apparently not one Morecambe fan behind the goal thought he'd been touched, they all said he'd slipped, so looks like the ref got that right.

I agree. We left it too late to change things when it was obvious that didn't have the finishing touch up front. When AJ came on things started going our way and as you say, "with a little bit of good luck we could have picked up all three points, but in fact we get none again." As you have said in previous comments, the only luck we seem to get is bad!

A.J must be wondering why he isn't getting on sooner? Crazy, given his impact each and every game.

Maybe his fitness and stats point to him being better used as an impact player rather than starting games? I agree that he is technically our best player but does he buy in to the team ethics under DA?

According to Derek, Carlos said at half-time, he had his foot taken from under him.

Derek saying A-Jay "still not up to speed" following "coming back from injury", so perhaps he's getting there but not fully fit yet.

DA's interview he says we changed formation 3 times to try and get something from the game and it almost worked,
Sound like we were the better side just cannot get the goals our football deserves

Cheltenham manager just said in his interview that a draw would have been a fair result today

No doubting the work Derek is putting in and a superb result at Walsall but it's always more difficult taking points from clubs in with a shout of the play-offs, the up and coming home games will give him a greater chance.

Home form alone would dictate that to be a dead cert, then you have to factor in Stevenage being worse than useless and 2 clubs in serious peril of going into administration or worse, with heavy points deductions

Derek will never have a better chance of survival

Hopefully with DA in charge, we never have to hear the word "survival" again. Not until we are in League 1 anyways

It would be nice but then reality bites :?

Should he manage the unthinkable of taking this 'tiny' town club to the lofty heights of League one,

They should hastily commission another statue to sit alongside that one on the prom

Until the penalty, we were edging it, having the better of opptunities to take the lead. Steamrolled for a few minutes, and unfortunately conceded again, which knocked us flat. We seemed to totally lose heart, and desire for a long period, and Aj coming on made a big difference. After pulling one back, we really took the game to them, and you could cut the tension of the home fans with a knife. Could, and should have at taken a point at least(AGAIN) Next!!!!!

Just my opinion, oh, and that of the rest of the minibus, “JS is not cutting with us, in anything he does, a liability in some respects.” I would love to see the him spark up, can’t see it though.

As it may be, but proving to be a poor signing so far. Not a dig at DA, just fact.
