Interesting that Brewitt starting ahead of Kenyon, who has been playing well.

Agree that Alex has been fantastic season. The only reason I can see for the change is that Tom is a lot more mobile than Alex.

Two very good attacking substitutes.

Watching by iPlayer in Miami, which is a bit like Grimsby, being by the sea.

We coped really well with the bad weather on Tuesday. Let's do the same again.
Good line up, looks like we're not going to sit back.

Possibly... depends if Carlos & A-Jay are both back to full fitness? If they are both fit, then great but possibly not yet?

Bright start. Really good strike from Jordan, well saved for a corner. Come on!

Alaskan pollock is really common, and used in frozen breaded fish steaks and fish fingers. Quie tasty for a fish from frozen.

Kind of swirling wind, more with us than against.

A very enjoyable first half and evenly balanced. Grimsby grew into it a bit more towards the end, but we could well nick this.

Given the horrendous conditions, both teams keeping it flowing and playing some good stuff, however we have got the harder half with it slightly in our faces this half. If we can get Cooney and OSullivan in down the right that would appear to be the best attacking flank.

Pollock has a sort of grey meat, rather than white like cod & haddock, so not as popular with consumers in fish & chip shops, but is okay in processed food (bleached?) Much more popular on the continent, where it is called something else.

Not intending to start an argument, but this is another unintended consequences [AKA 'not thought through'] issue of Brexit. Pollock is caught mainly in UK territorial water but sold on mainland Europe, so we could 'take back control' of our water, but then not be able to access the main market for 'our' fish. Meanwhile, most cod is caught in EU controlled water. So if we go for a 'hard deal', we will catch fish we don't eat and not catch the stuff that we do eat!
