watching the EFL highlights on Quest it's amazing how many goals are scored either directly or indirectly from having a pop from distance.

it's something we have lost the knack of, maybe through lack of confidence but the rewards are worth the risk.

I just hope that DA gives the lads the confidence to have a go more often than we do !

Also have a pop from free kicks.

The other week Jordan was in full sight of goal but chose to put a ball into the penalty box when logic should have told him to have pop.

I'll never have a go at somebody who tries.....but....

Especially in the wind and rain, where as long as it is on target, there's a good chance of the ball being palmed back in to play.

The next 2 games will see opportunities few and far between, just pepper the goal and see what comes of it.
