Plymouth get a late equaliser, we drop a place on goal difference

A gritty performance from Macc, fully expected a cricket score.

Original statement that EFL were investigating the Macc postponement was 20 January. Took five weeks for last hearing so there should be an announcement soon. Macc were originally deducted 10 point with 4 suspended. If guilty, then as a minimum they'll lose that 4 points. The problem is that Bolton had their deduction for postponing a game overturned through appeal to an independent panel. If Macc lose points, I suspect they will go down the same route.

not really followed this story like i did Bury.

I actually feel quietly confident of staying up regardless with Derek Adams(The Man with the Plan) at the Wheel.

Can't see any more point deductions this season for Macc or Stevenage
Think the season is too far down the line now for that too happen

Rules is rules !

6 points deducted from Stevenage and another 6 deducted from Macc and we can crack the cigars open.

I am fairly sure we can win 3 more games out of our 12 which would mean the cheats have to win 6 out of their 12 to overtake us and I don't see that happening.

We can stay up on our own merit by getting more points than the Cheats.

You'd be in a relegation spot but for someone going out of business but don't worry you're safe :)

There is no sign of points been deducted from either team
We should just crack on and get our own points

What do you think we’re doing?!

There’s no way Derek will be happy with finishing 23rd as it stands.

Not just DA, lots of Shrimps fans will be disappointed too. The points are in there.

I know you're very positive about gaining points but where in the next 5 games do you see them coming from?
Nowt from the next two Saturday's is your starting point

We could win 3 of them. Carlisle , Crewe and Newport County. Why not. If our strikers find their shooting boots then all 5 could be won.

Macclesfield nearly beat Plymouth on Tuesday and they were a shocking team on the evidence of last weeks 2-0 win against them.

It would be nice but I think it's fair to say it won't be happening, time will tell

One game at a time for me mate. Starting with 3 on Sat. Playing against Carlisle, ups our game, and support in a big way.

We certainly do up our game. I have been to every Carlisle away league game since 2005 and I can’t remember ever losing to them. We always play so well there (they always get the better of us at our place but we will gloss over that).

The Carlisle journalist who covers them for the local paper tweeted today that neither Carlisle or Morecambe have ever won a home EFL or Conference match against each other in their history
