We got to grips with it and was a joy to watch us passing it too.
Seen Derek have a few out outbursts but today was unreal, like a man possessed, he truly has Morecambe on his sleeve now and you can see the passion that is rubbing off on the players.
Absolute masterclass by Carlos down the touchline in the second half.
Well deserved equaliser, shutting down the great away support.
Moose was a total numpty in the final minutes.
Even on the EFL show first
"Big fish don't like going there" - never heard that one before!

Agree. They were something like 5 on 2(?) and it looked really dangerous for us.
Philips did the right thing. He took one for the team.

Yes it was the most cynical foul possible (and Phillips was right to take out their man).
But it wasn’t a clear goal scoring opportunity and it wasn’t a horrible dangerous tackle. I still genuinely don’t understand on what basis the ref showed a red? By the laws of the game it was a yellow all day long.
Artell has massively over reacted just because he thought they were gonna score from the counter.
I'd agree that it may be worth appealing. Far from preventing a 'clear goalscoring opportunity' and not reckless enough to be dangerous (I don't think)? Need to watch it again and find out wha the refs reason was? Isn't it one match ban for preventing a clear goalscoring opportunity? But it is three matches for dangerous play, so a big difference.

No more talk of being the plucky underdog or the controlled expectations of years gone by but positivity all round. Better football, bigger crowds and no inferiority complex. Great time to be a Morecambe fan.

Isn't there a new Chancellor going to present a Budget shortly?BerlinWaller wrote:Spot on Marky, I am really looking forward to seeing who DA can keep and bring in during the summer. No more Tranmere and Bury rejects hopefully. DA has a real idea of how he wants a team to play and how he wants a club to be. The new Directors have bought in to that which is great to see. I asked the other night but never got a reply but when did anyone last hear the word "budget"?

Not chomping on that one

Absolutely... the Directors showing interest, rather than having a dictatorship, the commercial manager getting bums on seats, ever increasing fans getting behind the team, the manager giving it all a kick up the ass and the performances and the results improving showing a massive difference at home.
No mention now of money, budgets and how good the other team is.
If we can continue this momentum through the summer we can very much look forward to August.
Might even get some pre season games across the border, anything will be an improvement on last year
