Let's hope we can improve this half and that we don't leave it too late to make changes if needed, as in previous games!

A few players not doing much (I’d almost forgotten that Kenyon was playing) but I’m sorry to say, Slew not only isn’t contributing, he doesn’t appear to be working very hard. Get Bradbury on for a bit, he puts himself about more.

Mofumbly... not sure whether to praise the save on the line or criticize him fumbling it back in to play!

A defender will be MotM, not sure which one, possibly Cranston because he’s got forward more.

It’s all Newport at the moment, so any goal is coming from them. We need to change things soon.

Carlos off for Bradbury.

Not the pitch for him and a couple of knocks, so probably that’s why he’s going off.

I only have our commentary to go by, far to many names not getting a mention. Slew being one and as you say Keith, Kenyon not involved. I hope changes come soon. A point will be good, but let's be greedy and have three!

Rubbish goalkeeping again. Halstead must wonder what he needs to do.

It wasn’t a good punch, it didn’t even clear the penalty area. Far too little on it.

Poor defending, there was nobody on the line to head the ball away. Can't see us coming back, but Bradbury now has his chance.

Halstead made a load of errors, pretty much every other game. Mafoumbi has made 2 I think. Halstead made 2 in one game v Northampton

Slew not performing, Mafoumbi mistakes, has cost us in recent games. Halstead back in goals and perhaps a start for Bradbury next time out?

Poor game, neither side deserved to win this match but we contrived to lose it. Only began playing a bit after we went a goal down. Good that Stevenage & Macc lost though.

Stevenage have a game in hand and have to play us, so it isn’t over, but another game gone and they are on a string of defeats. If we beat Stevenage, we can relax a bit then. Play like we did today though... Remember Barnet going on a champions level of form and being only a Coventry goal away from staying up, or Newport themselves having an amazing run to stay up a few seasons ago? No chickens counted yet.

It's Mafumble in goal till the end of the season. Just been told that Halstead is going in for an operation that will keep him out till next season. Bring big Baz back.

Had a look at the short highlights on Sky Sports, think people are going in a bit hard on Mafoumbi. Wasn't a great punch but he had to climb over a couple of bodies, and did manage to get the ball out of the area. Their player was a bit lucky with his lob/cross I thought - not really sure which he was meaning to do.

My main issue would be that he was a bit slow recovering into a better position towards his goal line, rather than the punch itself.

Crap pitch, was always going to play more into Newport's hands. Good to see Oates getting on, looks like him and Bradbury caused a bit of trouble late in the game. Encouraging to see that we have options in the squad that can still cause trouble.
