Might set off early doors and have a half in the Tan Hill on the way over. Should get into Morecambe about 1ish maybe. Hopefully there'll be no jobsworth asking my postcode on the turnstiles this time. Best get on to royalmail.com and start looking up some Morecambe ones just in case.

Setting off at 7pm Thursday evening, will arrive home at 6am Saturday morning. First home game I've managed to get to in ages (a few away games though!) Looking forward to it!

Well done the teams for delaying kick off till 315pm, cos as was pointed out 3pm Good Friday is the time of death for Jesus traditionally remembered.

My lad was asking if there would be a minute's silence for Jesus dying.

I reckoned not cos you don't have a minute's silence for folk who came alive again 3 days later. :D

Plus you'd be alienating a heck of a lot of people who class ourselves as Agnostic/Atheist (the former for myself).

How come they have a time of death constant but the day changes every year???

I know how they work out "Easter" and why it moves, I don't understand why the Christians don't know/celebrate the exact date? The Romans kept good records of executions, so why keep it as a movable feast? Obviously Christmas is celebrated in December to mark the Pagan's mid-winter solstice rather than Jesus' birth, which, ironically, was probably around Easter time.

Leaving East Lancs at 12.30. Bringing 5 over (a little earlier than usual). Could be a near capacity crowd and wouldn't want the non season ticket holders amongst us to be locked out of the North Stand. :o

I totally agree. It causes so much confusion every year. I can understand that Easter Sunday has to be on a Sunday every year, but why it needs to be linked to the moon is beyond me!! Let's start a campaign for Easter to always be say the first Sunday in April

It's the same time every year !! by the lunar calender..1st Sunday after the first full moon after
the 20 summat of march.. Maybe 2009 years ago they did not have buggers like CC motoring round flogging printed matter and had to look to the Heavens.I could go on for ever about Easter,It has been the rock in my shoe since I was a lad.First there was the Magdelain Sisters at school, who dragged us to church every day during "Holy Week". Then about 10 years ago feeling absobloodylootly shit, due to gallons of beer being forced down my throat,I was awoken
at around 06.00 by someone lacking in even the remotest sniff of tact, who said "You better get down here,Your old man has just died on us.". So taking all this in to account, the sadistic nuns,
my old man passing away at a ungodly hour the attitude of the tosser who broke the news. It's
about time I had an Easter that started with a smile.......Let's hope it's this one. ;)
