So the new season is finally upon us and the serious stuff begins. In seasons gone by, we don't have a good record here do we? However new season, fresh new optimism. Positive speaking manager going quietly about his business. I'll go 1-1

Feeling positive and a 1-2 away win on the first day of the new season and a long awaited goal for J. Slew

I feel that we have started in our first two games in similar vein to the way we ended last season.
Creating chances, playing some good stuff but switching off and conceding. Grimsby away, Cheltenham away, Newport away all had that pattern in Feb and March.
We need to start taking the chances and not giving the opportunity to the opposition of getting one back and getting something from the game.
However, the Robins were very tight at the back last term, so I’ll take a 1-1 also.

I should know better but I genuinely think the Robins are going to get a shock. This is a very different MFC team, there’ll be a much more limited home advantage and the chances will start going in at some point. 1-2.
