Whatever way you paint it, Morecambe by definition is little, now if you made Lancaster and all the surrounding areas part of Morecambe and had a ground twice the size, no one from the really Big towns, with Big Town club's would perceive it as such.

Morecambe's population is a lot higher than Accrington and Fleetwood, but no one ever referred to them as "little old Accrington/Fleetwood". But it's not just size, it's attitude, it's confidence, etc.

I've lived here since 1966 and correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't Lancaster city a bigger club than Morecambe at one stage?
I get what you're saying about attitude and self belief but if you have a quick look at the fixtures of both club's mentioned, I'd say their little clubs in that division or any other for that matter.

I think the 'we should be 'beating teams like Morecambe' thing has always played in their favour and proving you can stuff these massive club's makes it even sweeter.

I love this new attitude from top to bottom. All we need now is Charlie and James to take the club over!
