Derek seems to like Slew but I'm not a huge fan. He tracks back, but he constantly gives the ball away in dangerous positions. He doesn't offer enough going forward for me. Not sure we have a great replacement in the squad sadly, but if AJ comes back maybe it gives us more flexibility

I'm not sure why we've got into the habit of tapping our clearances, but it's happened in every match so far. I'm happy to see us try and keep the ball, but I do think sometimes you need to put your foot through it. Quite a few times we've created trouble for ourselves by literally passing the ball to the other team.

Lots of their players on a booking, could be a nervy ending for them as they keep bringing our players down

It's all getting very nervy. Put a foot through the clearances and push out. We are inviting them on, shades of Rochdale!

Are you in the Morecambe pub in Paramaribo?[/quote/].

In a bar called Tap'sei Noord. Nice spot. If there is a Morecambe pub here my work is done. I make a point of taking some Morecambe pin badges with me to give to any locals who will have them when I work away; you can imagine my surprise when I tried to give one to a fisherman in the Seychelles last year only to find he already hat a Morecambe FC hat!

Great result. Only the second time we’ve made the 3rd round and that was our first League season. Let’s hope Covid-19 magically disappears in a fortnight.

Great result, one of our best performances in a while I thought as well. Even when we win we seem to have a leaky defence, can't remember many clearcut chances for them tonight and we created plenty.

Newcastle is a great fixture for us too. Chance for us to be on TV again? Or if not, hopefully some decent income from their fans on iFollow.

Lets take revenge on them for robbing us in 2013 when Podge's header was handled over the line !

TV would be a nice little earner.

It was possibly the strangest thing I have ever seen :D it is pretty cool, I am a wildlife cameraman so it can be amazing but also at times incredibly tedious; 43 days sat in a hide waiting for a bird of paradise courtship dance, finally got the shot then to be told it's not needed anymore! Great result today played really well great to get a clean sheet, bring on Newcastle!

Another solid performance, Cooney and Carlos were superb,
The triple substitution showed the riches and depth now at the club, everythings starting to click all around the park.
Oldham look devoid of ideas but for the last ten minutes, on that display, Kewell will be yet another statistic of a club in complete turmoil.

Fantastic. Every job has its challenges but sounds like a cracking job.

Totally agree. Great performance, looked solid and we’ll give it a good go against the Toon. For once I’ll be here and not on holiday but can’t see the bloody game.
