Poor result but they ARE a Premier league side! £60 million plus forward line and then Andy Carroll comes on! On to Sarfend and hopefully a more equal game.
Don't worry be happy!

We've got loads of money, imagine how much we've saved not putting all them pineapple chunks in the men's urinals.

Don't think anyone was being unrealistic, most of us expected a defeat. But breaking sweat would have been nice.

You’re right we’ve done well.
Imagine spending all that money to only get one more than Cambridge.

Heard nothing of our front players for a long time.... :o :o :o

Interesting to hear what DA has to say...as he will no doubt speak to Quinny.

At least we are not the only ones losing 6-0 , Barnsley are having a lesson from Chelsea

Much needed money in the bank, a bonus windfall if anything. Imagine being in the conference and not knowing if or when your season will start.

Irrelevant nonsense.

Onward with the all-important League 2 matches.

The Shrimps will beat the Shrimpers! - the bounce back effect!

That's the spirit, knew we would get you board!

Now, the question is how are we going to spend the £647644757547997684 Keith told us we would make tonight?

Who were we saving ourselves for last Saturday? I'd expect professional pride & endeavour in every game.

How many do you predict we'll put past Southend on Saturday now we've been saving ourselves?

You could have put any league two side against that lot tonight and the result wouldn't have been any different even with 11 men on the pitch.
The fitness and movement is ridiculous and no shame in that

Thank god thats over! Football without fans is rubbish! If fans are not allowed in I would prefer the season was abandoned now!

I feel that we could have done better. But I certainly didn't expect to win. It was a strong NUFC team, so what do you expect. And after we lost a man - an uphill battle.

We made some money from the iFollow takings.

As long as we can put out a strong team vs Southend an dplay well I'll be happy. L2 is the bread and butter....

Exactly. If we’d really battled and lost 7-0 then I would have been fine with the result. But we didn’t show any heart tonight.

I think Derek is a good enough L2 manager to ensure we bounce back on Saturday vs Southend

I did mention the players looked weary after the Oldham game and maybe the two games a week plus Derek's tough training regime is having an effect?
Who knows? I don't and neither do you, new players, new systems, not gelled yet but it's no good creating division with only a few games played
