I'm confused...

Derek Adams has added former Newcastle United full-back, Liam Gibson to his squad.

The 23-year old has enjoyed loan spells with Gateshead, Accrington Stanley and most recently, Grimsby Town, before being released from Newcastle during the summer.

Who is he 'on loan' from if he's a free agent? And why can't he play against his 'former' club?

David Cameron. May 4th 2015.
So how did that work out then?

I think we've signed him permanently, and he just won't be ready/match fit in time for tomorrow.

......now for a striker...........hopefully........ :) :) :)

No updates about AJ suggest that it's not good news....so have we seen the last of him.

:?: :?: :?:

Lets hope that Liam has got over his illness that kept him out for a season.

Derek says in tonight's Lancashire Evening Post that A-Jay has started training so hopefully he will be back sooner rather than later.

Thanks Tim. I've re-read it and yes, I was confused!

So we have sold two left backs for money in Luke C and Jordan C and signed two for nothing in Stephen H and Liam G, as well as Nat Knight-Percival who can play there, and Alex Kenyon also.
We might be covered in that position now!

Sounds an excellent signing by DA. A player who appeared on the subs bench for a Premiership game but has had some bad luck over the seasons.

I think he may be the answer to our left back problems.

Although he was debited with an own goal on Saturday , look how quickly he reacts to the danger when the ball came back off the bar. He threw himself at the ball to try and head it out of play and was unlucky that it went in the goal.
