I didn't know he had it in him....but his mate and girl friend said before the game that Rene was feeling good today.

Goal of the season?

I thought Garry Hunter had a brilliant game and was everywhere.

Hope he isn't to badly hurt.

Garry Hunter MOM for sure, hassled midfield tirelessly, the job perks used to do,
being a "pain in the arse" all over the pitch. must be part terrier
Hope he's ok, gave his all today IMO.
Well done garry ;)

Untrue, I was in there at 7 and there was no evidence of any trouble.

In fact there were still alot of Bratfud in there and the atmosphere was relaxed and jovial.

That was a great finish too, but yesterday's goal was about so much more than the finish...

Having seen it on Sky Sports News it was without doubt a superb strike.

However, I've changed my mind about it being goal of the season. Gary's goal at Grimsby was technically a better goal and therefore it now gets my vote.

While it was a great goal, it somehow looks less impressive on TV - Rene beats one player and has a (fantastic) shot after being afforded plenty of space by Bradford. A bit of table-turning after how many goals we gave away through failure to close down players in the first half of the season.
