Rather unprofessional of Fylde to release a statement like that. I hope they will put out, in full, a statement from the player giving his point of view.

I think legal teams may have been notified.

I remember a similar fall out with an ex Fylde Goalie and the Chairman happening last season because of comments made in the Match Day programme.
