Did it deflect off a cloud?

Brilliant stuff, just so annoying that we can't be in the stands supporting the lads!

Cole! Superb! Yet another great cross!

Three headers today.

You appear to be under the misapprehension that those of us who wanted to see Jim have one, properly funded, non-crisis season, to see what he could really do, now want to see Derek fail. That's not actually the case. We wanted to see Jim have a fair roll of the dice but now want to see Derek succeed. When Jim was here, you wanted to see him fail.

Sorry Keith, you have got a bit excited and trying to make this in to a Jim Bentley thing. I was referring to a Gary Neville shout when Kompany put it in the top corner for Man City. Sky have been running it on an advert lately. Sorry to get you excited for no reason.

We've won nearly every header from crosses, I can see why they've conceded the most goals

Took us 17 matches to reach 12 points last season I think, this must be our best start to a league season ever? Even in our better seasons it was usually a late rally rather than a strong start

In Jim's early days we used to start off well but after xmas with a small squad we were knackered and fell away. This season though we have a quality squad to get us through winter.

Okay, fair enough. I've not got Sky so wasn't aware of that reference.

i always felt there were to much tinkering by Jim and player's got pissed off with it, and it showed in performances and results, in my opinion.

Nervy end to the game. Would like a fourth so we could relax!
