I can understand Carlos coming off, when he's on form he's electric, but he totally disappears when he's not on form. Not a luxury you can afford in a game like today.

Worrying thing for me is

11 goals against in just 6 games

When it rains it pours, looks like we don't do close losses this season

Bore off. Everything is miserable and worrying to you. Probably not even watching it.

What was Sam doing??? He doesn't make many mistakes but that was a huge one.

First half was really good and even. Second have has been really poor.

Ok I will bore off

But conceding on average 2 goals a game is not good enough

felt Cooney could of stopped the 2nd, he was in-front of his man and didn't jump for it.

basic defending you were taught at school "even if you're not going to win the header, you still go up for it making it harder for the other man"

and now 3-0 as i'm typing :(

Crawley haven't lost at home for over 11 months.

Still an excellent start to the season even if we move down the league.

Pressure of being top is unknown for our lads.

Wake up call for us as it is now 3-0. Not sure what has happened but it looks as though we have lost our shape. DA will get it sorted on the training ground.

One thing we seem not to get right is closing down therefore allowing space for a shot at goal.

Oooops..4-0.....

Once again allowing too much space. Seems like a repeat of previous seasons misgivings but it'll be sorted 'cause DA wont stand for it. Can imagine a few harsh words tonight.

This is a typical Morecambe performance from the past few seasons for me. The same problems we've always had:

  • Poor final ball means we can't create clear chances
  • Defensively frail conceding a lot of clear chances and shots, relying on last-ditch defending
  • Midfield struggle to get a hold on the game
  • Mentally weak, 2-0 quickly becomes 3 and 4-0. We seem resilient enough at 1-0, but then our heads drop as soon as it's 2.

Then there's a lot of other niggly things we can patch over in a win, but become painfully obvious in a loss. Small passes go astray, sometimes it feels like we don't know if a player is left or right-footed meaning they have to take an extra touch. We moan about refs, but a lot of the time it feels like our players don't know how to play for a foul and our opponents do.

We have some nice moves going forward, but we don't do it anywhere near consistently enough.

Taking off our striker for a centre back is an interesting move, going for 3 at the back to push the full-backs forward I guess. I think 5 goals in 10 minutes is too much for us!

100% league record during my spell in Suriname. I'll be looking at one way tickets.

O'Sullivan puts a lot of effort in, but I don't think he's creative enough for us. I'd like to see Carlos and McAlinden on the wings, they both seem more creative and threats with the ball at their feet.

How can anyone complain when we are averaging 2 points a game. Especially when we are used to averaging less than 1 point a game

Shows how valuable Kenyon is to our defensive midfield.

Rather our position than Southend, Oldham, Mansfield, Scunthorpe etc... etc...

Pity your keyboard was broken when we were top of the league.

13 goals conceded, 12 points, lets go for 100 goals conceded and 90 points come the end of the season.

Would you not take 2 or 3 wins plus a battering every 4 game? I would.

We haven’t played well second half today but we have played ok. We can easily comeback Tuesday night.

I think it's massively unfair to include cups, we won't be playing Premier League teams every week.

This is a poor result, but I can forgive being thrashed by a team whose wage bill would fund us for centuries.

Go away! Where were you last week when we were top? So you're not happy with where we are? Win on Tuesday and we could go BACK TO THE TOP!

But you won't reply to this cause you're just a WUM
