Why continue with the long ball to nobody other than Mendes Gomes who seems to be running through treacle !

If Wildig hadn't brilliantly managed to get a shot off there we might have had a penalty

Superb cross from Phillips, Carlos was just out of reach. That could have been a cracker.

I'm becoming increasingly frustrated at DA's team selection once again.

Post match the Carlisle game he said we offered little if anything at all in the final third but he still persists with Slew whilst McAlinden remains on the bench.

He suggested that our midfield wasn't operating as it should but refuses to even given Pringle a chance to impress.

Unless he has a change of policy then we are going to find ourselves in the poo yet again.

I'm really not looking forward to the FA Cup game where I'm afraid we could be on the end of a cup nightmare at the hands of a team who will shut us down and press us for the entire 90 minutes.

Half time summary:

Most of the first half, Tranmere were poor, occasionally raising their game to 'below average'.
Unfortunately, we were only slightly below average, occasionally dropping to poor.

Radio Rovers are saying the ref is favouring us!! :D They reckon Rovers are looking a lot better than last few games, without looking dangerous.

Nice to have a reliable penalty taker, easy to dismiss it as "just penalties", but you still need someone to put them into the net. We've had our issues in the past.

Silly from Phillips, wanted it on his right foot but should have hit it with his left
