Game against Maldon and Tiptree next Sunday will possibly be called off !!!

They don`t play at elite level (below level 7)

Quite a few FA Cup games will be called off next week for the same reason

When will the club find out due to having to travel overnight etc

Is the FA Cup not classed as "elite"? Will the teams below elite level be able to play in The FA cup till they are out? So many questions we will find out in time I'm sure

Don't think that any game will fall to the lock down as no fans will be allowed into their stadium so the teams will play purely to a TV audience.

I was thinking this as well, even if the game does go ahead what if Maldon win? They won't be allowed to train or play other matches.

I'd assume they'd find some way around it, but as it stands Maldon aren't allowed to play with or without fans.

Maybe the powers that be will ensure that all teams are tested before the games go ahead.

If the TV companies want the games to go ahead then they could foot the bill for testing.

They currently are allowed to play in front of a maximum of 600 fans I believe. very similar to my Son in Law's team Scarborough.

However for FA Cup games from Round 1 it's zero...

Just a note of caution, this season they have played 12 and won 12....in all competitions.

Maldon and other teams below the National League North and South are going to be desperate to get this game going ahead with £32,000 just for it been on tv, plus a potential further £17,000. That's alot of money to clubs like these

Surely it's the competition that the teams are playing in that is considered, not the team/ground? We've had situations where teams sharing the same ground can have one team with fans, one without, depending on what division they're playing in. It all comes down to what 'level' the FA Cup gets deemed to be.

There are 48 Elite sides in the FA Cup at the moment, they can't insist in just Elite sides playing each other! I hope the competition is classed as Elite so it can continue.

Not doubting for one minute they are a very good side with an excellent manager with a 71% win ratio but they haven't won 12 of 12. They have drawn 1 plus drawn 1 in the fa cup v Grays however overall won on penalties but they are still a mean none league potential banana skin side. Not to be underestimated

same years for me, but when we played higher teams their class usually did for us, but now the gap is small, so if your not fully up for it your gonna get turned over !
