Great build-up, way to capitalize on their mistakes.

Yes! Carlos. Good to see a mistake at the other end!

Songo'o, Mellor, Slew, CMG, all fantastic for that goal. Helped with some poor defending but some really nice touches from us

Sam had to deal with that, row Z written all over it. Crying out for a bit of genuine width, Slew is putting a proper shift in!

Get in, well played Carlos and Slew

Great way to end the half. Hopefully we'll shoot more in the second half.

I have to disagree with the lads, I think we are playing well. We are competing all over the park and playing some nice stuff in the final third.

What a great goal! Hendrie with a great shot from outside the area!

Thought we rallied really well there. Reminded me a bit of the Cambridge game, fairly equal and then falling behind, but we've come back strong.

Slew having another good game so far, not a goalscorer but he's clearly not meant to be. Doing a very similar job to Stockton.

I think we were dropping too deep, letting them dictate play. Then, when we went behind, from a mistake, we began to come back in to it. Another defensive error let us back in. Makes a change to have the error at the other end fall nicely for us! Then Hendrie :-) Way up the pitch, defence backed off him, nothing on so shot from distance, right in to the bottom corner! Great stuff. Now let's go for another in the second half.

Made them look average at best, until Sam’s error. Now we are at a score line
we absolutely deserve. Get in.

Agree that Exeter didn't look special either. For a team near the top, they look ripe for us to turn them over.

From what I´d previously seen Slew hadn´t looked good enough, but he was excellent on Saturday and tonight. He has not stopped running, held the ball up well and set up some good chances. The cross he put in for the Phillips chance was brilliant. This formation seems to suit him and CMG.

I think we deserve this lead. Hope we can hold on...

Definitely. More of the same from the 2nd Half whistle. Come on the lads.

Agreed. I have watched nearly every game this season and we play alright. It has been an enjoyable season, despite not being there in person. More decent chances tonight than previous games which is encouraging.

I don't mind the dropping deep and letting their CB's have the ball. They look pacey out wide and have a mobile striker looking to run in behind. Besides Sam's mistake they have created very little but we have broke on them and had 3 good chances as well as scoring 2.

Interesting to hear the views of Ian Lyon again, he is IFollows version of Micheal Owen.

I hope we don't sit too deep and try to defend the lead. It hasn't worked previously, we need to keep on as per first half. We are more than a match to them.

A bit of luck going our way, I think it probably was a penalty, their lad just had his heel clipped I reckon.

Pringle looks like a lad who has hardly played, needs to be replaced with Sully. Slew is getting better but think he will gas soon with all the effort he is putting in.

Some really woeful defending, we've literally passed the ball to them outside our box about 10 times now

Fortunately, they've not looked like capitalising. I still think 'attack is the best form of defence'. If we sit under pressure for too long, I fear we will buckle.
