Saw someone on Facebook questioning Turner, an interesting one. It does feel like we concede a lot of the shots on target we face. Both were good shots today, but were they unstoppable?

Turner did make a good save for the free kick though.

Carlos would have been better to take a touch there and then go down, rather than going for the shot. Refs never give a penalty after a shot has been taken.

Promising chance though

I wish Jordan would shoot from further out. Get the shot on target. He's worked really hard again but a couple of times he took too many touches. We need to shoot sooner... ...it's worked for Salford.

I can understand delaying the subs because we've played quite well today, but you'd think we'd bring on some fresh legs to run at them with 10 minutes to go. Especially with 5 subs so little danger you'll end up caught out through injury.

Hendrie on at left-back and Price on for any of the midfield 4 would be my choice.

It would seem that Derek has given up on this game, just my thinking. We have subs and they are sat on the bench. Don't understand it.

Don't think it is that, he probably thinks that we're on top enough as it is.

I think Derek got this one right tactically, we were all over them and had plenty of chances, odd to see no subs made though. Even if Derek didn't think a tactical change was needed, you'd think we'd rotate a bit just to keep players fresh especially when we've got matches twice a week now.

They're getting scrappy now, just hoofing it into the air. A couple more chances left I hope

I really cannot believe Derek's tactics in this game. We have the talent on the bench and it's cried out for changes for 20 minutes plus. We have given them this game, very disappointed. 5 subs, not used!!

Another result where we definitely deserved better, same as the past few matches we just need to take our chances.

Not the result we deserved, but a good performance, the sort which would have given us 2 wins against Scunny and Stevenage. Crying out for fresh legs, and a shake up around 65 mins. Next.

The players on the pitch gave their all and deserved something out of this game. Not using subs near the end to push for an equaliser or win was our undoing. Very disappointing. Not what was needed.

Saving the players on the bench for Saturday ? , no ! Just tiring the 11 players on the pitch even more

I didn't see it as being on top. It was crying out for change. Freddie Price running at them would have shaken them up. Just have to hope that there's some logic for his decision.
On to the next one.
