CHRISTMAS TOYS & GAMES APPEAL 2020

For each of the last two years Shrimps Trust has launched a Christmas Toys and Games Appeal to collect donations from members, Morecambe FC fans, and the wider community to bring a little more joy to children and their families in our locality.
This year, we have been alerted to a very worthwhile cause in our immediate catchment area and we respectfully ask for your support.
Please help us make a real difference to families in our district.

Please contact us via email at: shrimpstrust@gmail.com
or Private Message us to arrange collection or drop off of donations.

For those of us not in the local area, is there a fund we could donate to or something like an Amazon wishlist where we could buy toys to be delivered to an address?

If you’re heading out Christmas shopping this weekend, or perhaps making some purchases online in the next few days, please consider adding something extra to your list if you are able to do so.

Disadvantaged children in our area would be thrilled to receive a gift from Santa on your behalf.

Hi Tim, thank you for your interest, there isn’t a specific fund set up for this cause, we could look into creating a wish list in conjunction with the cause that we are collecting for, or alternatively, we can supply you with a delivery address to send any toy donations to directly.

Good afternoon everyone.

A quick update on the progress of this year's toy appeal - with many thanks to the generosity of a number of contributors both locally and overseas, we are off to a flying start, Shrimps Trust greatly appreciate all the donations received so far.

I have been informed that this year's chosen cause has had over 150 families expressing a request for help and support, so with this mind we are stepping up our efforts this week, to collect as many toys and games for boys and girls as we possibly can in the run up to Christmas.

Thanks to tim-sanchez's suggestion we have now created an Amazon Wish List with prices ranging from £2.90 up to £20.00, here you can select your chosen gifts and they will be delivered directly to a Shrimps Trust delivery address. Tap on the link below to access the list:

Argos also has a number of great deals available on toys at the moment too, with 2 for £15 and 2 for £30 deal promotions available, email us at shrimpstrust@gmail.com if you’d like details of our Argos Wish List.

Many thanks in advance for any donations you may be able to make if you are in a position to do so at this time.

Please check out our social media posts on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram this evening for further details and pictures of items received so far.

Kind regards and Seasons Greetings to you all. :D

The Shrimps Trust Team.
