Great result, they are a good side and made us work for it. It's a shame we couldn't manage to wipe out some of the goal difference, but a welcome 3 points. Well done.

Well played lads, well earned 3-points! Great goal to win it. Great all-round team performance against a good to who had started the season on fire. Shame Cole and Carlos didn't get on the score sheet with their chances, but they will in future games. Onward and upward COYS!

We do look tired and have no energy at times BUT is that the way that DA wants us to play, not over exerting ourselves just playing within ourselves.... :?: :?: :?:

Delighted with another home win against a good side who showed very little going forward.

One of these games we are going to take all of our chances. :)

Same old? This season has been brIlliant. Our best in the last decade. Yes we are not winning any games by more than one goal but who cares

We all care!
We are crap at hitting the ball on target and getting it past the keeper!
'This season has been brilliant'...
Having had time to reflect, did you actually mean the word 'Brilliant'?...
If you did then we are worlds apart on just about everything football related.

Objectively, upper mid-table doesn't count as 'brilliant'. However, I'd say in comparison to recent seasons, this season has been brilliant.

We were 'languidly clinical' in our finishing earlier this season - we didn't create loads but were clinical when we did (the stats back this up).

Over the past couple of weeks I think we have been a little more wasteful, but not by any huge margin. Today were very wasteful though, but the positive from that is that we were created lots of chances!

I was only able to have the match on in the background today as I was working, so I don't want to stick my neck out too much on this match. Given how Harrogate have struggled recently (struggling to create clear cut chances and when they do, struggling to finish), the game went pretty much as expected. They pile men forward so us getting in behind a few times was always likely. We did well to capitalise and create the chances, and should really have finished one or two more off.

10th in the league is probably a fair position given our performances so far this season I think. Busy period ahead, let's hope this win can give us some momentum!

This is a different Morecambe, we would never have won games like this, so glad to be looking up not down
Lots of positives and negatives in the game, but at the end of the day 3 much needed.points.
Would love to have a striker that could just put it away, but if we had one, he would be on his bike

Happy looking up
Enjoy yourself.... It is later than you think

A win is always good! We missed a few good chances to be winning comfortably BUT at least we are making the chances. When the chances to score aren't being made that would be more of a worry. Half way to the magical 50 points and it isn't Christmas yet!! Still in the FA Cup, fantastic! :D
Don't worry be happy!

A very enjoyable game of football to watch( for me,) and a full team performance. Defensively, we were really solid, and their main threat, Kieran, was dealt with very well, particularly 2nd half. Davis, put in a near perfect shift. As WW said, we are creating plenty of chances, so will always have opportunity to score, which has got to be far better than not creating. The game is coming, where we give a team a proper tonking. This season so far, is way beyond, what the Shrimps fans have had to put up with, for the last few years, so WELL DONE THE LADS.( All involved with MFc) COYS.

I dare say this but under Derek we seem to be making the Mazuma a fortress. 17 home games played under Derek and only 3 defeats :D
