Andy Burnham the Mayor of Greater Manchester is usually the first to come out in public and comment on issues in his region.... but on an issue that concerns the Police he remains silent when asked to make a public comment....

Mayor of Manchester publicly holds the Government to account for inexplicably under funding the North and then a few weeks later his Police Force is put in to special measures. I wonder how much digging they had to do to get enough dirt on him?

My post was based on the fact that he had not responded to a request to comment as of the BBC Lunchtime News. The fact he did so later at which he at no stage accepted any responsibility for the police in his region. As i said plonker... :!: :!: :!:
