Colchester 1 Morecambe 2 [O'Sullivan, Songo'o] LIVE Thread

FFS! What do we have to do? Cole should have scores but hit the post, then the keeper saved superbly, turning the ball on to the crossbar. We've hit the woodwork three times in this game already.

Come on, let's have a bit of good luck.

Ripping them to shreds, worldly save from Colchester’s keeper. What a game, Halstead then saves us and we go straight back up the other end and nearly score again

Bit sorry for Carlos, I think that was going in before Songo'o made sure!

We are a proper side now. How can you not think Songo'o has changed the side and is a top quality footballer?

Chuffed to see Songo score, good healthy competition between him and Alex Kenyon.

In football there are levels and Songo'o is on a different level to Alex.

Never mind the possession stats. Look at the shots stats.
Colchester 5 shots 1 on target
Morecambe 14 shots 8 on target

And we are the way team. That is nothing short of sensational.

A few months ago, I would have rated them in this order for who I would choose:

Diagouraga,
Kenyon
Songo'o

Now, I'd say:

Songo'o
Diagouraga
Kenyon

Songo'o does the donkey work that allows the others to play. Tackles well, puts his head in the way, then plays a simple pass to allow us to turn possession.
