Colchester on top for the last few minutes. I'd like to see some fresh legs on, give them something to think about, because we're sitting (or being forced) to sit too deep.

Our team is insane, insane insanely good this year holy cow. Stockton, wildig, O sullivan, cooney lavelle davis, phillips even songoo are doing so well this game. Our team is just class I think we are the best in league two. As soon as Derek figures out to start Gibson we will be straight up unstoppable. I love starting diagouraga alongside songoo/kenyon as he is a holding midfielder that can also pass.

In football there are levels and Songo'o is on a different level to Alex.

A few months ago, I would have rated them in this order for who I would choose:

Diagouraga,
Kenyon
Songo'o

Now, I'd say:

Songo'o
Diagouraga
Kenyon

Songo'o does the donkey work that allows the others to play. Tackles well, puts his head in the way, then plays a simple pass to allow us to turn possession.

He chases the ball down and breaks up play. He puts his foot in and is a real unit. He gets us back on the front foot and like Keith says, lets players play around him. He is not there to ping the ball around or do back heels. He is vital and you can see why Derek brought him in. Alex is much improved but he is no where near the level of Songo'o.

Nail biting time now and we should have been out of sight. Whatever happens in this game now,it has been an outstanding performance. Every player has contributed. Absolutely dominated Colchester.

Superb game. Pushed back to defend deep for quite a while, making it a bit nervy, but that was well defended. Bearing in mind, Colchester were above us, in a play-off spot before today, we were much, much better than them. :D

Get that statue built. Derek Adams football genius.

17 shots away from home against a play off side is incredible. What a month. What a season.

Gives some joy in this terrible year.

Another great result. Dominated Colchester especially in the second half, 5-1 would've been a farer scoreline. Fifth in the league!! :o :D

Yeah i guess sub diagouraga on for someone if we need more defensive ability. We have so much quality on the bench that we don't use. Gibson instead of hendrie every day of the week. Utilize subs more effectively and we are set for league one.

Superb performance, after checking my prediction, another correct score. Well done D.A. and the whole team. Up to fifth. Only seven points separate the top 8.

Brilliant yet again, only a shame not to win by more as we missed a few chances! Stockton needs to start tucking away his chances but his overall play is so so good he's undroppable, and overall he raises the level of our game. Despite his missed chances, his all round game was excellent again.

These last few games we've really clicked and are looking more defensively solid, and more dominant throughout matches rather than just in spells. Hard to pick a player that stood out as all were excellent again.

My shoutout today will go to Toums, who made a massive claim to get back into the side when he came on. It was a worry seeing Phillips go off, but everything in that particularly excellent 15 minute spell after half time went through Toums, and great to see him get the assist for Songo'o's goal in a great corner routine!

5th at Christmas, absolutely amazing! What a job Derek Adams is doing :D
