Cup draw difficulty

The Athletic looked at difficulties of cup draws for the EFL + PL in the past 10 years. According to them, Morecambe have had the 3rd-hardest set of cup draws, but interestingly we're ahead of just Lincoln and Newport - both who had well-publicised cup runs. Here's to our luck changing for the next 10 years?

I suspect this is skewed for Lincoln and Newport in that they have overcome the odds quite a few times, and therefore received additional difficult ties.

In the case of Morecambe, its probably that we have been one of the lowest ranked of the 92 sides during the last 10 years, therefore every tie is deemed to have been vs a higher difficulty opponent when we drew a FL club.

We've lost some absolute shockers over the years - particularly in the FA Cup, dating back to non-league.
