What a great victory, and wiped out the negative goal difference. Brilliant, and that wasn't our first choice squad playing? Bring on the next.
We are looking fantastic now.

Any of the back four could be MotM. I'd go Hendrie because he also got forwards well (but then Cooney did too). Excellent three points.

They did finally acknowledge that we were "quicker" and "stronger" at the end of the game.

Awesome 3 points! Great goals! Great win! Really well done Derek and the lads! Tried the away biased dribble, but couldn't stand it for more than a couple of cringe-worthy minutes. Great game for the Shrimps!! Onward and upward! COYS!!!

As much as I don't want to get ahead of myself, we are red hot at the moment. Defended superbly and scored with both shots on target, and we're missing a couple of players too! One of the best wins of the season.

What a result!

Great start to the match, really got at Exeter and earned our lead. Another brilliant ball from CMG to Phillips, and how good is Phillips from the spot!

You'd think that early subs may rattle a side (given one was an injury), but that tactical change bringing Law on seemed to help Exeter and it became more even throughout the half. Second half was more 'smash and grab' - a brilliant ball from Phillips to Stockton who took a gorgeous first touch to get himself through.

Think the heroes of the night have to be the whole back four though. Hard to really pick one out as they were all brilliant, but I agree Hendrie was particularly notable for his attacking contributions too. Loved his scorpion kick clearance that probably saved a goal! I think that was probably his best game in a Morecambe shirt.

Great achievement to get a clean sheet against such a potent attacking side in Exeter - top scorers in League Two. Third in the league and zero goal difference! :D

Also a night to appreciate the fantastic commentary work we get from Freez and Glen!

Tied for second and 1 point off first? I dunno, maybe we should wait to see if we win our next 3 first.

Excellent result ...

Didn't expect to win tonight I admit it but I was proved wrong

Teams in league 2 will have to start taking us serious now

If people want to keep having digs at me that's up to them I'm big enough to take it

He's called Taylor so probably knows nothing about football lol lol

Amazing result and resilient performance. In my opinion that is our best result under DA. I do not mind saying I had little confidence for tonight's game but that was brilliant.

Even more amazing when you think how many players we had that were unavailable and yet look at the strength of our bench.
