Have to take any chance that comes now and shoot from distance using the wind if it's still in our favour !

Well, it wasn't on the player who was injured, as that wasn't a foul and I didn't see anyone else on the ground, so I doubt it. I think foul & abusive language is most likely, possibly swore at the ref.

Watched the sending off clip again a few times. Unfortunately it's out of frame but there's a shout that sounded like "woah woah ref he's put his head down". Obviously can't see anything until the camera moves from Derek to the centre circle to show the red card come out.

This will be a very tough half now and a draw would be a brilliant result now. We have a phrase for what happened there. at være med på en badebillet. In short a ticket for the bath/shower. Early bath I have heard before I'm pretty sure. (Would love Freez to try and say that!) :D

If it is a red card for something Songo'o said, watch Clarke verbally abuse the Ref after the penalty was given.

Maybe one of them days !!

Will take a 0 - 0 now

Have to agree, would take 0-0 now, but I still reckon we can do it.

Clarke was giving it out just before the sending off too, standing behind the ref.

Yeah i noticed that, he obviously knows it is a fairly inexperienced Ref and has been at him a few times.

World of difference between [for example] Clarke going to the ref after the penalty and saying "come on ref, I was falling over! I didn't deliberately handle it! I couldn't avoid the ball from that distance!" to Songo'o [potentially] shouting at the ref "for f**k sake ref, he's taking the p**s! We were on a break when you f*****g stopped the game"

Spearing handled the ball, not Clarke
Clarke made his way over to the Ref and verbally abused him. Watch it back, clear as day

Our new goalie has learnt more about using the wind in 45 minutes than Baz did in 10 years.

On the sending off. The referee declared his intention to let the sub bring drinks on. Sango'o said "You Can't" and his French accent was misinterpreted......

Maybe?

Regardless, the point remains, we don't know what words were used. "Foul & abusive language" is exactly what it says.

The fastest sending off in football was three seconds. Ref blew to start the match. The player stood by the ball said "f***-me! That's loud!" Ref blew again and sent him off.

I'm not sure what your point is? You can pretty much lip read what Clarke is saying and nobody knows what Songo'o said.

I'm explaining how and why the words used may have been significantly different. You on the other hand, insist that you can lip read better than the referee can hear. I don't KNOW what happened, you apparently do. And you think the ref doesn't know either.

Well, the obvious positive is that we're still up there and a good result next week will keep us there. Hope we can somehow appeal the Songo'o red and get a couple of other plays back from absence.

Not much lost position wise in the table thankfully.

They seemed happy to keep it to 0-1.

Not sure what was said but never easy with 10 v 11.

New goalkeeper did well but still prefer Mark as our No1.

Major disappointment, but still showed what we are all about. Missed penalty, and a moment of madness has cost us the points. The lads deserve a lot of credit still in my opinion. The “really tough” game, my @r$e. We were, and still are the form team of the two, and looked the likely winners based on the 11v11 for 40mins. Next!!!

Not a hope of that if he's been sent off for foul & abusive language unless the ref says he made a mistake.

Stupid, especially as he's been doing so well.

I was missing that negative goal difference. Normality has been resumed!
