Cambridge 2 Morecambe 1 [Price] LIVE match thread

I knew Carlos would go down when he received that ball, should have shot as soon as he could.

No chance a ref is giving us that penalty after he's already given one to us!

3 long throws in a row, not a single one found our man. We've got to give up on long throws, I'm not sure a single one of them has created a chance for us all season

Can't see how that's a penalty at all, if anything their player steps across Cooney. That said, we've had our chances so at 2-0 down can't really blame the ref for losing this.

No coming back from this. A VERY soft penalty decision but that is how to take them.

A crap penalty decision for them and a missed penalty for us, the difference between the two sides at the moment.

Ah well, we didn't expect much so I'm not gutted by the result. More of a shame how the game went, gave away a silly red and missed a penalty.

Now another suspension and maybe back down to 6 subs again for Tuesday

Unlucky guys... Gallant effort

Better team with 10 men

Would have taken 3 points from the two games (Cheltenham and Cambridge)

We did ourselves proud. Some dodgy refereeing and a missed penalty cost us. The never say die attitude is great to watch.

Yes. If we'd drawn both games, we would have thought we'd done well but would have been a point worse off

What's super annoying is that aside from the first 25 mins or so, that was actually quite a good performance. Especially when we went down to 10 men, once again I was super impressed at how we stayed present and active in the game.

Ultimately, like against Tranmere, getting a stupid red card and missing a penalty is proper shooting yourself in the foot territory. Think the way round we did it today was more frustrating - going down to ten, getting back into the game and winning the penalty, then missing it. Was a very poor penalty from Stockton, telegraphed it and didn't spot the keeper going early.

On the bright side, well done to Freddie Price getting his first goal! And we've been very lucky with other results today.

One big positive is we continued to challenge right to the whistle and if it wasn’t for a missed penalty we would have had a really good day against a good Cambridge team !

Another poor refereeing performance by Mr. Rock. Referees like that determine the score of games not the two teams competing against each other. Nothing ever seems to be done about the mediocrity of match officials and they are allowed to continue to spoil games.

Can imagine DA has blown as fuse considering some of the refs decisions today. However no real harm done just makes it a wee bit harder to be champions at the end of the season.

The stats show we had more shots at goal but again our throw ins are letting us down especially the long ones which never seems to get to us as the first man. Maybe a rethink is needed .

Pleased for young Price. Could be another one for the future.

Must win game v Southend on Tuesday.... :? :?
