If you look at most of the replies & a lot of the lads’ reactions on the bus, you can tell I’m not the only one who thinks this isn’t just immature, but also bullying. Scrolling through the rest of his posts around that time also remind me of how he acted. He often talks about how there shouldn’t be this pressure on men to be “alpha-males”, yet this is him proving he is “the boss” :?:

1) You were never the “Manager” Kev
2) Any need to post this on social media?
3) No attempt to rekindle any sort of relationship with the gaffer

This reply is one of my favourites!! https://twitter.com/skybluestacey/status/1221077171004940288?s=21   Look where we are now without him, compared to where he’s ended up, with a much larger budget there!

https://twitter.com/kevin11ellison/status/1228691703915274240?s=21 Another bit of light-hearted ‘banter’ of course - but what gives him the divine right to be in the match day squad?!

https://twitter.com/kevin11ellison/status/1233372405931835398?s=21 It’s well-known that he was unable to train on astroturf, so why is he acting like the entire training schedule should be ripped up to suit his needs over the other 20-30 lads.

I get the entire situation is much more complex than this, but anyone could surely recognise that some of these actions are dreadful, and have since brought the entire club into negative press...

Does any of this make him not a club legend? No, he was with us for nearly a decade, scoring a load of goals (some very important & impressive ones at that!).

However, what I want is for everyone to have all the information they need to make a fair and balanced judgement on the situation, and without seeing these outbursts, I don’t think you can make such a judgement. Equally, we haven’t heard DA’s side of the story, so we’ll likely never really know the whole situation.

I remember thinking at the time of the video that it was out of order but it is worse than i remember. The likes of Ellison, Ten Tonne Buxton and Tutte were bad eggs and i can imagine what kind of dressing room it was. Players seem to be flourishing as players and as people without them.

Couldn’t agree more. Just look at Cole’s reaction! And guess who’s playing upfront for us now and is crucial to our hard-working, disciplined system? Yes, it’s Cole!

If he had stayed here he could have been a hero in a promotion , and if not that he would have played a lot more football than he has for Accrington (and taken a penalty at Cambridge !)

Surely Burnley could recall him if they don't think he's getting the game time to assist with his development !?

Can't see Burnley doing a recall so late in the season.

Somehow think we will be released along with Cooney at the end of this season.

If you are not dominating League 1 in your early 20's, A PL club will have very little interest in keeping you. Jude Bellingham is 17 and playing champs league and has international caps.

They could, but if they plan on releasing him, why would they? May as well leave him on loan and have another club pay some/all of his wages.

Oliver has 20 goals for the season. It makes you wonder how he would have done here with Derek Adams as his manager. He has improved every one of the players who are still here from Jim's days.

Wow. That is some goal. Stunning.

Always had that in him too. The goal against Cheltenham away (?) when he just powered through the defence.

Jack Redshaw has been released by York City after they slashed their budgets.

After working the last five months on a building site, it is expected he'll go part-time with a club at Conference or Conf North level.
