Shrimps 4 [Stockton, Carlos, Lavelle, Songo'o] Scunthorpe 1

Absolutely brilliant tonight! Right back on it after a couple of disappointing matches and results.

The energy and pressing was superb, and then our clinical edge, speed and creativity in the final third was right up there with the best we've played all season.

Thought Scunthorpe looked pretty tidy, but ultimately their style of nice football (they moved the ball relatively well at the back/in midfield) but lacking invention and real creativity completely played into our hands.

Lots of great performances tonight, but MOTM has to go to O'Sullivan. Great pressing, not just in his energy but in his body shape and how he closed off angles - superb! Oh and of course, three assists!

Back on track, and let's hope for some good results in the other games for us tonight!

Great night of results for us, apart from maybe Bolton depending how you look at it

50k wouldn't buy the shoe lace in his left boot. He is in the 5-10mil bracket now

Fantastic performance, fantastic result! That’ll shut up the “Stockton’s useless and we’re not getting promoted after these last few games” brigade! And another few good results around the league tonight!
Exeter, Salford, Tranmere, Bradford lost; Newport & Carlisle drew 0-0, only us and Bolton won in and around us!

All of this means we’re up to fourth in the table, on a 4 GD as well! Never know how handy that might be!

Brilliant performance, brilliant result. Remember just 72 hours ago when the moaning brigade were saying it was auto's and playoffs over?

Aswell as Bolton, is it possible that we could maybe catch Cambridge as they have some tough fixtures coming up?

Great performance tonight and good results elsewhere, the only sad thing is that we are unable to show the manager and players our appreciation for what they have done this season!

Fantastic result against an average team

We won 4 -1 with 34 % possession (bet that doesn`t happen very often)

OWS has credited Lavelle's goal as an own goal... by NKP?! So unfortunately final score was just 3-2 in the end!

Now that’s poor, is the website managed from inside the club or by an outside company?

BBC and Google made the exact same error, so I'm guessing it's an external company. Sky got it right

That's my thought too, that the club didn't even know it had happened. Hopefully someone from the club will see this thread and get it sorted ASAP.
