Can't remember us playing a game with the chance of us going in to the top 3 either

45 +4 with three minutes of time added

To me, the powder-puff wave of a foot happened. Their cheating twat went down with a broken leg and rolled to the corner flag, but that made it the correct decision. We were looking good before Mellor's lack of discipline.

Did you notice that when Wildig was poleaxed (elbow?) nothing given, then there was a foul a few seconds later, when the ref finally stopped play, they restarted not only with an uncontested drop ball, but Bolton didn't give us the ball back? Why didn't we restart with a Morecambe free-kick?

Hope Exeter get a win and do the cheating twats next week, so at least we can take it to the last game of the season.

Unless the ref evens it up in the second half, I can't see us getting anything from this. I'd be telling Carlos to run at their players every chance he gets and go down at the slightest touch.

All the build up and hype for this game ruined by yet another stupid red card . Not sure even Derek can get us out of this mess

Yeah there was a game the other week might have been the Southend game had we win rather than drawing I think we would have gone into the top 3?

Think thats probably game over. I'm truly gutted it was there for the taking we were the better team . I suspect a playoff place now, which is still a great achievement but I just don't fancy us in the playoffs. I was so hoping we could win today and pinch 3rd place...

I do not care one bit if Afolayan had a little niggle at him. That is un-excusable from Mellor, and I honestly don't even want him on the bench when he gets back (will be in the play-offs). Stupid and needless kick out has cost us a place in the automatics. We were on top before that and starting to build even more.

Will take a miracle to get back into the game. I have faith in the team but Bolton are probably the worst team in the division to go a man down to with how they keep the ball.

Andy Bayes asked DA about discipline, and it has cost us yet again in a key game. Off the top of my head, that's games against Tranmere, Newport and Cambridge as well that we looked like we could get something from.

Totally played in to their hands with the sending off. It was a synchronised appeal with that prick Evatt and their players. Mellor fell for it and the ref bought it. The ref has been bullied by them.

If we lose today we need to concentrate on making the play offs which are not yet guaranteed

Gibson probably out for the rest of the season, Mellor banned until after the first play-off game. Suddenly, defence is a bit thin.

We've not been bad second half, if it's still 1-0 with 10 minutes to go they'll get very nervy

Proud of the team for their efforts. They have played 12 men this afternoon. If that is how Bolton play the game then I would rather watch MORECAMBE anytime. They couldn't score again playing against 10 men for 70 minutes. All credit to MORECAMBE.

We played with pride that second half. Looking back on it their ploy was to try and target our discipline problem and it worked. Win our last two and we're still in with a chance, I think Exeter and Crawley can frustrate Bolton and still give us hope of top three.

Not the result we wanted but more worrying for me is players who could be out

Already lost Slew and O Sullivan

Possibly now Wildig and Gibson

Also Mellor suspended
