Played with real heart & endeavour today, but ultimately masterminded our own downfall. We have thrown away so many opportunities due to silly sending-offs. But with a smidgen of luck, we'd have got a draw.

Bolton are horrible. What a bunch of diving cheats. I think I prefer Cheatenage to this bunch. Their guy who Mellor breathed on went down with a broken leg and didn't stop rolling until he reached the promenade. Then, suddenly, as soon as the red card was shown, was up and grinning. Yet they got away with niggling kicks at us all game.

It would be great if Exeter could do us a favour next Saturday and at least make it interesting going in to the last game. In true Kevin Keegan style, I'd LOVE IT! ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT if they came apart like a cheap watch.

Keep eleven on the pitch and go up via a trip to Wembley with fans present. 8-) :D :D

I can't help but feel incredibly proud of the team after that performance. Think that's automatics gone now but never would I have imagined that we could have been in with a chance of it with 3 games to go so hopefully now it's playoffs. I would say every time we've played a team currently in play off spots we've matched them or more. Just KEEP 11 ON THE PITCH!

That Southend game has cost us big time...but we still have a chance and it's not over until the fat lady sings....as they say.

Next 2 games are massive but it's in our hands and referees....

If this was us in the "chasing pack" playing one of these, you'd be calling it a tough game?

No, the Southend game hasn’t cost us anything. Getting a man sent off against Newport, Tranmere, Cambridge and today, when we picked up nothing when we could and should have had something in all of those games, has cost us, as it gives points to teams that are direct rivals.

Agreed. However we just don’t do the dark arts very well and other teams do which has cost us big time this season. I’m sure DA must have sat down with them following recent reds and drummed it into them what to do and what not to do and yet still we get caught out. Incredibly frustrating. Hopefully we still have the play offs and just remember We’ve never lost at Wembley. If some of us could attend the play off games even better and a few quid from SKY to boot.

PS. Hope those Bolton dicks outside the ground haven’t scuppered our chances of the council agreeing to allow fans back in!

All those games have been against promotion chasing teams which has been frustrating. Still feel that the Southend game could prove costly......

Just think injuries and suspensions could catch up with us

Think we are down to 11 starters and 5 on bench for next week

Denny wasn’t in today’s squad but is still fit. I think this is how it looks:
Letheren
Mellor
Hendrie
KP
Lavelle
Davis
Slew
Toums
Cole
Wildig
CMG
Halstead
Kenyon
Lyons
O’Sully
A-Jay

Pringle
McAlinden
Denny
Cooney
Gibson
Price
Songo’o

Do we know what Aaron's injury is? Maybe it's time for Pringle to shine?

Wildig got smashed in the ribs by Baptiste

Could just be bruising but it will hurt

Evatt would say that though. He would say anything to get the points!
And as matter of fact, Wildig got smashed in the jaw by Baptiste , after the ball had gone, received treatment and the drop ball went to Bolton.
Aaron was subbed as he was concussed.

Where are AJ and Denny? Not made a squad in ages but no announcement that they're injured.

We could really use someone like AJ, I'd be interested to see if he could slot in for Sully/Wildig.

And Pringle as well? He was meant to be an attacking mid, I'd love to see him smash in the winner on the last day of the season to send us up!

Definitely NOT a stamp, more like an entanglement where Afoliar over reacted and played dead.
It was obvious from the start they were looking to draw fouls, sadly we fell for it.

Personally don't think AJ and Pringle will be with us next season. (Whichever league we are in)

It's still incredibly tight at the top. Extremely unlikely that we will go up automatically, but any of the top three could be champions, with just two points from top to third.

I really hope either Cheltenham or Cambridge win it. I'd hate to see the diving, kicking, niggling, play-acting twats go up as champions. They certainly don't play like champions. I think they've become my most disliked team! Can't see them cocking promotion up now, but we can but hope.
