If you want to question the referee's competence, I'd question what appeared to be an elbow to the head that poleaxed Wildig, leaving him needing a hospital visit for concussion and queried broken jaw. That should have been a red card, but wasn't even a foul. The game should have been 10 v 10 for much of the time.
