Test and Trace v Tranmere

Test and Trace v Tranmere

Postby redrobo » Thu May 13, 2021 11:26 am

Rod mentioned in his radio interview that the club will be doing a Test and Trace exercise just prior to checking in at the stadium.

I assume that the club will be providing the necessary QR code for us to download....

No doubt there will be others like myself who have never to date been at a venue where Test and Trace has been active, so this is all new to some of us.

I would have thought they will already have our details from buying tickets and bringing ID with us.
If we are testing as well and the match kicking off at 12.30, will probably have to be there for 11am, lol'

Any bacon butty vans outside? :)

I imagine it'll probably be the same as most places at the moment. QR code via the app, or a sign up sheet (usually name, number and email) if you don't have the app.

Yes, but the post heading says 'test' like Rod says in his interview

Ah I see - I kind of just assumed it was a slip of the tongue from Rod if I'm honest and that he meant to say "track and trace".

I would be a little surprised if they were doing testing at the ground, I've not heard of any other places doing it.

I've done the test before and they are pretty quick all things considered, but I personally think it would still cause quite a bit of delay getting into the ground.

I think it’s always been Test & Trace but it’s a phrase that has morphed into Track and Trace.

No suggestion of testing at the game but in order to comply with T&T you’ll need ID to prove your identity. That way if there was an outbreak linked to the game you can easily be traced. My understanding is that it’s mandatory to do this at these games hence the requirement for ID and not just scanning a QR code.
